Staff Engineer, Manufacturing

About the role

This role sits with OSCN, within the Opto Semiconductors business unit. As a Staff Engineer in Manufacturing, you will lead and drive activities in the Die Sort area to meet targets for quality, delivery, and cost, coordinate improvement across departments, and build and grow your team.

What you’ll do

• Lead and drive activities to meet the KPI of quality, delivery and cost in the Die Sort area
• Analyze the company’s KPI, break down actions to the departments, and follow up as coordinator in Die Sort
• Work with other departments on continuous improvement of quality, delivery, cost and 6S in the Die Sort area
• Build the team and drive team growth by developing team members
• Act as backup for the manager in their absence
• Other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor degree or above with a related major
• 8+ years relevant industry experience, familiar with the semiconductor industry’s technological process
• Good command of English preferable
• Good command of tools such as FMEA, SPC, CP, 8D, etc.
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills
• 5+ years managerial experience
